Its Not Weight Gain, Its Muscle Gain…

I’m not the only woman in my running group to have noticed this.  This past Sunday, one of the ladies commented…”I’ve gained 5lbs since I started running, I thought I’d lose weight!”  “Me too!” Came a chorus of replies from the rest of us.  Our instructor echoed the words of my avid, runner husband…your replacing body fat with muscle…I’ll accept that, grudgingly.
